Myrna Loy (Myrna Williams) actress Born: 8/2/1905 Birthplace: Raidersburg, Montana
Loy worked under contract at Warners, at first in silent films, often playing mysterious, vampy characters suited to her exotic good looks. She emerged as a film star in the popular series of “Thin Man” movies, beginning with The Thin Man (1934), cast opposite William Powell . During the 1930s she reigned as the “Queen of Hollywood,” and she starred in a long roster of films, including Double Wedding (1937), The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), and Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (1948). Died: 12/14/1993
